A Brief Introduction to the Ultrafine Wet Crusher
The enclosure of the main body of the ultrafine crusher is equipped with the rotary spindle which is driven by the mechanical rotation and a number of countershafts. There are dozens of ring crushing media in each countershaft, namely, crushing ring. The crushing ring can be freely dismantled, which makes the disassembly and assembly become very easy. The size of the crushing ring is different with the different forms of the device. The outer diameter is in the range from 25mm to 45mm and the thickness is in the range of a few millimeters. Usually there is a gap of several millimeters between the inner diameter of the crushing ring and the outer diameter of the minor axis so that each crushing ring can freely move. There is jacket outside the wall of the crushing chamber. The cooling water can be led into the cement mill to control the temperature rise of the materials. The inner wall of the crushing chamber and the crushing ring can be made of stainless steel, ceramics, or other superhard materials.
When the spindle rotates, the crushing ring moves with the countershafts to produce the centrifugal force. In this case, the gap between the crushing ring and the countershaft moves along the radial direction. The crushing ring strongly presses the inner wall of the crushing chamber. The friction between the crushing ring and the countershaft makes the crushing rotation motion on the countershaft. The materials are nipped by the rotating crushing ring and the vessel wall after the materials enter the crushing chamber. Under the action of centrifugal force and the rotating frictional force, the particles of different sizes in the cavity are crushed and dispersed. Due to the high-speed operation of the crushing ring, satisfactory results can be achieved for crushing and processing the materials with different viscosity levels.
The ultrafine wet crusher is suitable for crushing the slurry with various concentrations and it can easily crush the fibrous material and crush the the layered materials, such as the graphite, talc, etc..
The maintenance of the ultrafine wet crusher is easy. In addition, this kind of crusher has the high-strength shear and compression forces, which can mix, crush and disperse the materials with high viscosity.
